                    What is Geology?

                Geology is the study of Earth. Geology is one of the four basic ares of Earth Science. Earth Science is all the studies of the Earth. The other areas of this science are meteorology, oceanography, and astronomy.

                    What are Geologists?

          Geologists are scientists who study the Earth. Someone who is a geologist wants to learn and understand many things, such as Earths materials (oil, metal, and water). And Earths processes (landslides,earthquakes and floods) But also Earths history.

          Would you like to become a geologist? If you would you have to go to collage and get a four year degree in geology. That sounds hard does't it? Well it's not. All you have to do is put your mind to it and you can do anything. When you became a geologist, you get to work in many places, such as classrooms and maybe even government agencies. But mostly you will do field work.
